3 Things to Consider when Pricing your Home
Putting a price on your home can be intimidating, especially if you haven’t been keeping up with market trends. Use these three tips to make the process easier.
List any improvements you’ve made. Did you install a new patio or deck? Have you recently painted the exterior? Have you upgraded kitchen appliances? Think about the positive impact you’ve had on your house when figuring the asking price.
Consider similar homes on the market. What are comparable houses selling for? Your property is competing with other houses in your neighborhood, which may have a similar layout or square footage.
Hire a knowledgeable professional. As your real estate agent, I will provide lots of additional information, including a detailed summary of the local housing market. Remember: A house priced right is half sold.
