Question and Answer
Q: We recently bought our first home. We are not sure, however, what we should keep in the house to be prepared in case of an emergency. Can you offer some suggestions so we can rest assured that we will be prepared if something should happen? A: You are wise to want to be prepared in the event of an emergency. You should make sure that everyone in the house – including children who are old enough to be left alone – knows where to find and operate the following: • Fuse box or main circuit breaker • Main gas shut-off value • Fire extinguisher • Main water shut-off value • First-aid supplies • Contact numbers for emergency services (fire, police, ambulance, and poison control) As your real estate professional, I am happy to provide you with information that helps make your home safer. When you or someone you know is in need of buying, selling or relocation services, call me. I am always here to help. IT’S A GOOD LIFE!!
